An Overview of the Ordering Process

After order Placement: You will receive an email notification that we have received your order and instructions on how to send us your artwork. Then, one of our customer care experts will be assigned to oversee your order. He or she will check product availability, review your order for any potential problems with artwork, imprint issues and delivery times, while utilizing our expertise to make recommendations for ensuring that you have the help and support needed to complete your order and/or event.

After the review of your order: You will be faxed an Order Acknowledgement Form(s) and your order proof(s) showing the artwork placement for printing on your selected item(s). Please return this order acknowledgement within 24 hours so as not to effect your expected date of shipment. Late approvals from customers may require expedited shipping methods, rush production charges or in some cases non-receipt of products. Therefore, it is imperative that if you require any order modification that you would please note these changes on the order acknowledgment. Proforma Sweet Promotions will not be held accountable for modifications not previously provided on the order acknowledgement.

Returns: After the order acknowledgment approving the artwork to be imprinted is returned, it will be sent to production for decoration (imprinting, screen printing, embroidery, etc). There are no product returns accepted, after the production upon which the imprint information has been printed (according to the faxed proof).

Damages: All damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Please keep all original paperwork and packaging for your claim. Please e:mail and/or contact customer service immediately to report the problem.

Pre-Production Proofs: We can produce an actual proof of your item with your imprint prior to running your entire order. We recommend this on all orders where time permits. Pre-production proofs typically incur an additional charge for screens and setups plus the cost of the item and can add 5-10 days to the order process.

Artwork

Camera Ready artwork means, black and white laser printed artwork of 1200 dpi or higher. We require the camera-ready artwork to be in EPS (encapsulated post script) or AI (Adobe Illustrator) for PC. Please convert all text to outlines when possible.

The following artwork is not considered Camera Ready: Photographs, slides, transparencies, negative stats or films that need to be reversed to positive, halftone art that needs to be resized, low resolution laser printed artwork of less than 1200 dpi (we recommend sending black and white 1200 dpi laser prints at 200% larger than actual size), photocopies, faxed art, letterhead, business cards, Web images or any other art that needs to be touched-up, color separated, or multi-color art to be made one-color or otherwise improved. Stats, PMTs or computer scans of the above are not considered camera ready.

Provisions for Camera-ready artwork: Required artwork can be provided at an additional quoted price. The production of camera-artwork by Proforma Sweet Promotions will incur an additional order production time as required for artwork specifications and completion. During the artwork development process, artwork order acknowledgments and proof(s) will be provided and all modifications must be written on the artwork acknowledgement. Complete artwork redraws will require additional charges (complete art changes verse simple modifications). Artwork Final Completion Form(s) must be signed prior to art being submitted for order processing.
